The Harlem Jets were awarded a $4,570 check as part of the 117th Street Applebees VIP Grand Opening Party event on Thursday, December 20th, 2012 in East Harlem.
Almost a week earlier Harlem World Magazine reported on the ribbon cutting ceremony on December 10th, 2012 at the 117th Street Applebees with NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly, Doc Oz, Brooklyn Nets President Brett Yormark, and Tiki Barber.
