Master Writing Class—Seven Weeks: from Winter to Spring at CALABAR IMPORTS

Master Class for accomplished poets and writers.  The focus will be on generating new work, revision and prosody. This is the fourth year of this class.

Patricia Spears Jones is an award-winning author Painkiller (Tia Chucha Press) and two earlier poetry collections, three chapbooks, two plays and too many book, arts, theater and music reviews to count.  She is also a former Program Coordinator of The Poetry Project at St. Mark’s Church; columnist, editor and publisher and all-around culture maven.

Former students have started and completed new collections, created new work, revised  long dormant poems and enjoyed great conversation and encouragement.

*Tuesday Evenings:

February  12, 19, 26 and March 5, 12, 19, 26

Time: 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 PM

Fee:  $40 per class or $280.00—the fee has not gone up.  Pay in full by check or money order by January 30, 2013 to reserve your place in the workshop.  If you know you have conflicts w/ any of the above dates, please deduct the dates from the amount and state which dates. Refunds only if class is cancelled by instructor.  SPACE IS LIMITED.
