HAH is being launched as an effort to stem the gang / gun violence plaguing too many of NYC’s communities.  The event’s powerful message promises to make for a memorable evening.

Daniel W. Webster, ScD, MPH is the keynote speaker.  He is one of the nation’s leading experts on firearm policy and the prevention of gun violence.  A brief bio summarizing Dr. Webster’s accomplishments is attached.  Tard Carter, “violence interrupter” and outreach supervisor for the East Baltimore Safe Street’s program will be co-presenting with Dr. Webster.

Another highlight of the evening will be a dramatic reading from a scene in the play Gangstas by Chicago playwright Steven Long.  The scene sends the message to youth to STOP the VIOLENCE.

Please share this reminder with your network of contacts.  By supporting this event you will be ensuring that the evening will be an unqualified success.

Peace and Blessings,

Bill Henry
