Jazzmobile’s Jazzy Awards Presentation With Jimmy Heath

Jazzmobile is the first U.S. not-for-profit arts and cultural organization created just for Jazz. We bring quality Jazz performances and education programs to area residents, serving over 100,000 people in New York City annually.

Whether on the street, in a park or at a major concert hall here or abroad, Jazzmobile works in partnership with like-minded organizations to present quality Jazz performances that enrich the culture and imbue new life into the surrounding area.

Our workshops, master classes, lecture demonstrations and arts enrichment programs are training the next generation of Jazz vocalists and musicians and exposing youth to this vibrant art form. Our aim is to reach out to communities where Jazz was born, remind these diverse communities of their noble history and help pass the culture of Jazz on to new generations—while enhancing the quality of life for people of all ages and backgrounds.
