It wasn’t immediately clear how it happened or how badly the person was hurt.
The Fire Department had rescuers at the scene following the 10:05 a.m. incident Tuesday near 110th Street and Lenox Avenue.
The MTA says due to the police investigation, No. 3 trains between 148th Street and 96 Street are suspended and southbound No. 2 trains are running on the No. 5 line.
