Food Bank for New York City has recently launched a senior program, The Neighborhood Center for Adults 60+, at The Community Kitchen & Food Pantry in West Harlem. Community seniors are invited to come relax, participate in daily workshops on nutrition and health management, receive benefit application assistance, attend exercise sessions, and enjoy a free hot breakfast and supper. On Monday, February 25, The Neighborhood Center for Adults 60+ will hold an art show from 10:30am to 1:30pm, showcasing the art work of seniors for their friends, families, and community.
The Neighborhood Center for Adults 60+ is located 252 West 116th Street, New York, NY 10026 and is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Hot breakfast is served from 9:00am to 10:00am and supper is served from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Activities and workshops change daily; below is a calendar for the next week:
