To celebrate Women’s History Month, EmblemHealth will host “Eat Well: Live Well” at EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care in Harlem.
The free, public event will discuss women’s health and nutrition, including healthy eating on a budget (can I afford it?); food label reading (can I eat it?); how to control cravings and boost energy; nutrition tips for premenstrual syndrome and menopause; and food that builds strong bones.
In addition, recipes will be given to attendees along with a list of healthier alternative ingredients and cooking techniques for popular ethnic recipes.
