Harlem School of Arts/The Herb Alpert Center (HSA/THA) Center President and CEO Yvette L. Campbell, Lani Hall Alpert, Herb Alpert and Mayor Bloomberg cut the ribbon commemorating the Harlem School of Arts/The Herb Alpert Center HSA/THA.
It was a “good feeling” atmosphere with Herb Alpert and Lani Hall Alpert mingling with the crowd at the ribbon cutting event naming the facility “Harlem School of the Arts–The Herb Alpert Center.” This honor is in response to his support of the school and the arts through his philanthropy.
The entertainment was first class singing from the students of the school, followed by N’kenge (below), who is starring in the world tour of the “Michael Jackson Tribute Show”, and yes, she’s excellent.
The Hon. Charles Rangel also spoke at the event, acknowledging the Mayor and Mr. Alpert.
