Celebrate Harlem is Harlem World Magazine’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization. Our mission is to maximize travel and tourism opportunities throughout Harlem, build economic prosperity and spread the dynamic image of Harlem history around the world. With the launch of major interactive initiatives—including CelebrateHarlem.com—Celebrate Harlem becomes the ultimate resource for visitors and residents to find everything they need about what to do and see in Harlem.
With 5-6 million visitors a year (total visitors this month 719,248 and total visitors this year 5,122,781) Harlem has significant number of international travelers seek out nature- and culture-based experiences in Harlem, such as:
- Visiting historic (Jumel Mansion, Fire Tower in Mount Morris Park) sites
- Cultural sites (Lenox Lounge, the Apollo Theatre, Minton’s Playhouse etc.,) and
- Harlem parks (Mount Morris Park, Hamilton Grange, etc.,)

CH is a nonprofit(with a conduit) is governed by a board of directors representing the many community and business sectors. It is funded by the New York City Department of Small Business Services, the New York State Department of Economic Development and the Small Business Administration in addition to generous support from the New York City Council elected officials and the private sector. The CH is a focal point for economic development efforts in a borough that is home to roughly 600 thousand people from every corner of the world.
