Yolande Brener is a writer living in New York. She has worked as a go-go dancer, actress, filmmaker, singer in an all-girl band, disciple of an alleged Messiah, and minion of the media machine. Her essays
have been published in New York Press and nerve.com, and her film
scripts have been funded by the British Film Institute and the Arts
Council of Great Britain. She won the 2010 NYC Parks Department Poems
in the Park competition. Yolande Brener is currently researching a
formula for happiness and will gratefully receive any data relating to
this endeavor.
