AOL Building Minds One Community At A Time

June 10, 2014

all star codeBuilding Blocks of Success is an AOL program in which they invite groups of students from underserved schools who are specifically interested in tech/engineering/coding to their office for a career exploration visit.

AOL knows it’s important for students to be able to see for themselves the myriad of pathways available in the technology field. To date, they’ve partnered with NYC public schools in the Bronx and Brooklyn, and organizations like Girls Who Code, All Star Code, Futures & Options and Citizen Schools.

Part of Building Blocks of Success is with All Star Code:

  • 20-30 high school students from Eagle Academy in the Bronx
    • All Star Code is a non-profit initiative that prepares qualified young boys for full-time employment in the technology industry
  •  An Interactive ‘mini coding’ session with AOL engineers and students.

At AOL New York on Thursday, June 12th

We look forward to AOL coming to Harlem!
