Today in lower Manhattan, Taofeek Rabiu, senior tech manager at AOL explains the syntax of complex code to local 8th graders. “Computers are dumb. As smart as they are, you have to be explicit,” says Rabiu. To engage the you help them to easily understand, he demonstrates using live “robots.” Within moments, these the techno youth have a clearer understanding of more difficult syntaxes and are coding.
