BallUp_NYC_Next Friday May 8th, Ball Up – the premier name in streetball – takes a bite out of the Big Apple.

The world’s first reality basketball competition series, Ball Up’s “Search for the Next” is coming to New York to find raw talent that can stack up to their all-star team, consisting of top-tier players such as The Professor, G. Smith, Bone Collector, AO, Air Up There and more. With some of the most prolific street ball legends hailing from the Empire State, you know the talent will be top-notch.

Check out the comp:

For NYC, retired NBA stars Sebastian Telfair and Rafer “Skip to My Lou” Alston will be on deck to try to coach their teams to victory.

…the top recruits go on to the big game at City College of NY in Harlem.

After weeding out the best of the best on the Dykman courts, the top recruits go on to the big game at City College of NY in Harlem. Ballers came from as far as Canada for a shot at winning the game and latching on with Ball Up. From NYC, two local MVPs will move on to the next round in hopes of landing a Ball Up team contract. The NY team will definitely bring their A-game, but will it be enough to topple the Ball Up all-star squad?

Tune in next Friday, May 8th @ 7:00pm on Fox Sports 2 and again on Saturday on Fox Sports Net (premiere times vary by regional network).
