March 30, 2017

Heavy artillery has come to East Harlem.

Cops raiding an E. 120th St. apartment near First Ave. recovered seven firearms and a spent bazooka shell, officials said.

Members of Public Service Area 5 executed the search warrant about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday after spotting a man with a gun entering the apartment.

Cops found two revolvers, two pistols, a shotgun, two rifles and four imitation pistols. They also found the bazooka shell, an assortment of knives, a bulletproof vest, $44,000 in cash and small amounts of heroin, crack and marijuana, officials said.

Cops arrested Paul Durstenberg, 53, and William Vasquez, 55, on drug and weapon possession charges.

“Great work by PSA5 Anti-Crime. Firearms, ammunition, weapons, drugs and $44,000 near #Wagnerhouses. #onelessgun,” PSA5’s commanding officer, Deputy Inspector Erik Hernandez, said in a tweet.
