Celebrate Bike To Work Day Roll Out On Friday

citibikes in harlemTransportation Alternatives (TransAlt) is continuing its celebration of National Bike Month with eight bike commuter stations around the five boroughs, offering coffee, breakfast snacks and free gifts to people who pedal to work. Cyclists will be able to take photos in giant Polaroid-style frames and contribute to TransAlt’s life-saving work for safer streets every day of the year.

On the morning of Friday, May 20th from 7-10:30 am,  TransAlt representatives will greet bike commuters at the following locations:

Manhattan:

  • UWS at Riverside Drive at 72nd Street
  • Brooklyn Bridge — Manhattan bike lane entrance at Park Row

Bike commuters can enjoy free KIND snacks,  hydration from Vita Coco, coffee from Brooklyn Roasting Company and an electrolyte boost from Nuun.

Transportation Alternatives’ Bike Month events are presented by Elby and are made possible by the generous support of KIND, Brooklyn Roasting Company coffee, Vita Coco, Nuun,  ICNY reflective gear, Dutch Kills Centraal and Fab Cup.
