Bohemia Realty Group In Harlem Announces Ambassadors Of Fun Initiative

October 23, 2016

bohemia1Bohemia Realty Group, the preeminent brokerage for sales, commercial, and residential leasing in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, is expanding upon an already dynamic team-building program by appointing two of its top agents, Thomas Rodriguez and Chase Safarowic, as “Ambassadors of Fun.” In their newest roles, Rodriguez and Safarowic, who had previously helped organize some of the group’s activities, will officially spearhead programs that promote networking, sportsmanship and camaraderie.

“What makes Bohemia Realty Group stand out from so many other brokerages is a holistic focus on teamwork and collegiality, rather than dog-eat-dog competition,” points out Sarah Saltzberg, founding Co-Principal of Bohemia Realty Group. “Our newly appointed ‘Ambassadors of Fun’ are prime examples of successful agents who truly enjoy working together, as well as socializing with colleagues.”

For years, Bohemia Realty Group has sponsored team-oriented and health-based initiatives, such as personal training sessions, intra-office sports teams, pet adoption drives and a host of other programs geared toward group participation. Several of its agents are also active in the Harlem Children’s Zone and Broadway Mall Association. With the new “Ambassadors of Fun” initiative there is already an official kickball team, plus organized Fantasy Football nights, poker nights and movie nights. In addition, there will be annual and holiday events, such as an upcoming Haunted House Experience; and a Bohemia Realty Group Book Club is in the process of being organized.

Adds Rodriguez, “The vibe at Bohemia Realty has always been about working together to do better, which works well for all of us. This firm has some of the most creative, talented and culturally diverse agents in the city, so putting together events in which we get to interact as friends, as well as colleagues, is a great benefit.”

For betting events, such as poker and Fantasy Football, agents use B-Bucks, Bohemia Realty Group’s coin economy system.  B-Bucks are earned by helping out within or for others in the firm, such as covering another agent’s open house. The “Ambassadors of Fun” initiative will work out of the South Harlem office at 2101 Frederick Douglass Blvd., Harlem, New York.
