Join the LeRoy Neiman Art Center on Monday, August 10, 2015, 6-9 pm to meet former New York Knicks and NBA Champion, Dr. Dick Barnett, as he presents and signs his inspirational book: THE ATHLETE NEGRO; THE AWAKENINGwhich takes a critical look at the world of Black professional athletes.

The book looks at athletes and their struggle to work together and build a collective cadre of resources, relationships, and networks to impact regeneration in the African-American community and break the conspiracy of silent between Black professional athletes and the Black community itself.

Signed copies of the book will be on Sale for $25.  All transactions in cash, please.
