Also a celebrated actress, Diawara has collaborated with such luminaries as Herbie Hancock, Damon Albarn, and Cheikh Lô, and has impressed audiences around the world with her radiant voice, infectious Afro-pop sound, and original songs that range in theme from politics to empowerment and love.
