Harlem Man Edward Walters Missing

Notification issued on 7/06/11 at 8:00 PM. The NYPD has issued a Missing Senior Notification for Edward Walters, male/black/73 years old, from Manhattan Ave and West 115th St in Manhattan. Mr. Walters is described as 6′ tall, 170 lbs., and was last seen near his residence wearing a blue polo shirt and blue pants. If this person is seen, please call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.

86-Year-Old Harlem Woman Missing

DNAInfo posted information regarding an 86-year-old woman went missing from her home in East Harlem on Thursday, the NYPD said.

Dorothy Smith was last seen leaving her apartment at 334 East 108th Street around 12:30 p.m., according to the department.

She is described as being 5-foot-3-inches, 135 lbs, with white hair. She was last seen wearing a tan coat, blue pants and black boots. Continue reading

Police Seek Missing Harlem Man

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating William Rivera, 82, of 100 East 111th Street, New York. Rivera was last seen leaving his residence on October 6 at 11:00 a.m. He is approximately 5’7″ and 150 pounds, with short grey hair, a moustache, and a scar over his left eyebrow. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, grey pants, a white T-shirt, and sneakers. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). All calls are strictly confidential.

Police I.D. Woman In Harlem River

Missing Persons

Police have identified the woman who fell through a hole in the fence into the Harlem River who died. The incident took place on Sunday, June 27 at a party at West 145th Street and Lenox Avenue. The woman on the left, wearing the green t-shirt, has been identified as the victim Anjelina Wills, 20 (the woman on the right has not been identified). Three other party attendees jumped in but could not reach her. Police were unable to rescue her as well. Continue reading
