HCCI-HarlemworldFriday, August 21st, 2014 – Social entrepreneur CC Minton to bring wealth of philanthropic, event, health and wellness expertise to the Harlem World Magazine team.

CC Minton is an author, mother, award winning advocate, and social entrepreneur.  As Founder and CEO of Cecelia Antoinette LLC, she formed strategic partnerships to provide bits and bytes at the NY/NJ Superbowl XLVIII VIP Tailgate Party and is a recipient of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition 2014 Community Leadership Award. CC is the author of Daddy’s Greek Potato Pie, a book about healthy eating.

An entrepreneurial socialite who has thrived in the business and non-profit world, CC has lent her talent to the endeavors of a number of philanthropic organizations including the Junior League as Co-Chair for the House and Garden Tour, A Spring Affair Shopping Boutique and Chair of the Teen, Health & Nutrition Initiative.  Accepting an invitation to serve as guest panelist with the Jack and Jill of America Foundation and being named Advocate of the Month by the President’s Challenge for her work with the Boys  and Girls Club are just a few of the ways she has demonstrated her service to the community.  In 2006, CC collaborated as a 50th Anniversary Partner to the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, served as Project Chair for the Health and Nutrition Initiative and hosted a walk/talk event in honor of “America on the Move Week”.

Her early days on staff on Capitol Hill allowed her to play dress up for red carpet events including a Presidential Inaugural Ball, the Michael Jackson Victory Tour & private reception, and lunches at the Georgetown Club, experiences that fueled her thrill for fashion, the social scene and desire to help others.

According to CC, “I’m so excited to join the Harlem World Magazine team. I look forward to the opportunity to reach out to the community when it comes to food, fitness and philanthropic endeavors. I anticipate having a lot of fun.”

She is an adviser to a number of entrepreneurs, a member of the Wellness Council in her local school district, and a community partner with the USDA’s Let’s Move Initiative.  CC enjoys speaking about entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, marketing, volunteerism, food, fitness, good deeds for others and how much fun it is to do them. CC resides in Northern New Jersey with her husband and two children.

Harlem World Magazine founder and CEO Danny Tisdale says, “CC Minton joins the Harlem World magazine as an expert in philanthropy, events, health and wellness. Her deep knowledge and experience bring a high level of skill and professionalism to Harlem World.” Tisdale adds, “Like us, CC believes in Harlem World Magazine as an engine of opportunity for Harlemites, in Harlem and the world, and she will serve as a leader and expert on the Harlem World Magazine team.”
