Celebrate Earth Day With A Trip To A National Park In Harlem

April 22, 2016
harlem meerToday is Earth Day, the United Nations signed the Paris Agreement, a pledge to protecting our planet for future generations. America has continued our commitment to preserving nature by creating the National Park Service (NPS). The NPS is celebrating 100 years by working to get #EveryKidInAPark. Our community is very fortunate to have Harlem Meer at 110th Street in Central Park in our backyard. Harlem was home to our founding father and Caribbean immigrant Alexander Hamilton. You can visit the Harlem Meer to enjoy a tour with a NPS ranger. To find out how to get your kids to any of America’s national parks for free, click here.
