Dance The Night Away with Iris House In Harlem

May 11, 2016

Awards Picture Iris HouseIt’s time to kick up your heels again and help us end the AIDS Epidemic by 2020! “Put On Your Dancing Shoes,” our annual dance party benefit will be held on Monday, June 6th at the fabulous MIST Harlem (46 West 116th Street) and will directly benefit support programs for women and families impacted by HIV.  You can purchase tickets here.

We’ll be dancing the night away to the music of the Karl Browne Band, featuring DaChonne Nichole, chowing down on heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinking wine and beer and bidding on some fun silent auction and raffle prizes!

This year, we’re excited and pleased to be honoring Theresa Mack, M.D., Associate Director, St. Luke’s Medical Group, for her decades of work in the community as an HIV specialist and for her ten years (and counting!) on our board of directors, and Doris R. Conner and Doris B. Mitchell, two amazing community leaders from the Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Tickets start at $175 and all proceeds will support our broad program of support services to those impacted by HIV, including lunch and pantry programs, harm reduction services, emotional wellness groups, behavioral health and counselling and much more.

Please join us as we honor our special guests, dance the night away and have a blast in the name of an amazing cause!.
