Duke University Alumni 7th Annual Wild About Wellness Health Day In Harlem

April 8, 2017

DukeNY will again partner with The Children’s Aid Society at their Dunlevy Milbank Community Center in Central Harlem to offer a health fair, sports activities and wellness workshops as part of Duke Alums Engage. Last year, 150 alumni, family and friends volunteered to help over 300 adults and children in the Harlem community learn more about healthy living and the importance of staying active.

Duke Alums Engage is a Duke Alumni Association initiative that integrates the concepts of service-learning, civic engagement and reflection. Through this signature Duke program, alums are invited to examine and address the societal issues impacting their local communities.
