December 28, 2017

Patch reports that the NYPD is trying to locate a girl who was reported missing this week in East Harlem, police said.

Skyler Plaza, 17, was last seen Monday evening around 5:30 p.m., police said. The teenager left her apartment building on Madison Avenue and East 112th Street and was not heard from again, police said. The building is part of the New York City Housing Authority’s Taft Houses development.

Plaza (pictured above) stands 5-foot-9 and weighs about 210 pounds, police said. She has brown eyes and brown hair with blue highlights, police said. The missing girl was last seen wearing a green jacket with black sleeves.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
