Elderly Man Reported Missing In Harlem

Police are searching for an elderly man reported missing in uptown Manhattan last week, and are asking the public to help find him.

Jose Aquino, 75, was last seen Thursday leaving his residence on the northern end of Harlem around 8 p.m., police told our source. The man lived on the 2600 block of Eighth Avenue, police said. Police do not currently know where the man was headed when he left home.

Aquino (pictured above) is 5-foot-7 and weighs around 150 pounds, police told our source. The man has a light complexion, brown eyes, gray hair and a gray mustache, police said. He was wearing beige sandals, a beige shirt and beige slacks Thursday when he left his home, police told our source.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) for Spanish. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577. All tips are confidential.
