DETAILS: Join us to experience the healing benefits of tai chi. It’s easy on the joints, helps reduce stress and can improve flexibility and balance. While tai chi is generally safe for all ages and fitness levels, please let your doctor know you’ll be taking an exercise class. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. DETAILS: EmblemHealth and the Harlem Yoga Studio invite you to join us for an introductory yoga class that is perfect for beginners and experienced yogis alike. Each session will include:

·         Brief centering and meditation

·         Breathing practices (pranayama)

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. Try not to eat a heavy meal within two hours of class, but a light snack at least 30 minutes before is ideal. WHAT: Harlem Stroke Foundation Support Group

DETAILS: The Harlem Stroke Foundation survivors support group will be holding monthly meetings at EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care in Harlem. Speakers at the meeting will include physical and occupational therapists, doctors and other health care professionals.
