The suspect followed a 27-year-old female victim onto an elevator Wednesday night in a residential building on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and West 142nd Street, police told Patch. While in the elevator the man attempted to engage the woman in conversation and then exposed himself to the woman, police said.

The man followed the woman off the elevator and then reached inside the back of her jeans and groped her, police said. After the attack the man fled the building northbound on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, police told sources.
