Fabulous Hamilton Heights Mansion At $5.25M

January 23, 2018

NY Curbed reports that Hamilton Heights’s glorious corner mansion on Hamilton Terrace is now in contract, less than a year after it first went on the market. The news emerged in Olshan Realty’s latest luxury market report, and Corcoran confirmed that the four-story townhouse was in contract.

The mansion, which has a lovely limestone and terra cotta facade, first came on the market in March last year, after a lengthy renovation. At that time the house at 72 Hamilton Terrace was asking $5.5 million, making it one of Harlem’s most expensive homes for sale.

By November last year, the owners had slashed the ask to $5.25 million, and that finally seemed to attract an interested buyer. If the mansion does sell for its full asking price, it will become the most expensive townhouse sold in the neighborhood, besting the record set by another Hamilton Heights townhouse in 2016.

The house on Hamilton Terrace comes in at just under 5,000 square feet, and features four bedrooms, and three full bathrooms.
