That’s right! So, check out ways you can celebrate with programming at the Museum of the City of New York:

Free Festive Family Programs

Programs take place from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, are free with admission & for members, and include snacks!

Dec. 27: Flower Power
Make a paper poinsettia bouquet.

Dec. 28: Watercolors of the Season
Join us for festive watercolor painting.

Dec. 29: Snow Globes
Capture this holiday spirit by making your very own city snow globe.

Dec. 30: New Year, New City
Create your own journal as a place to record the memories you’ll make in 2016.

Free Cup of Blue Marble Ice Cream

The Ice cream tasting is from Saturday, December 26th – Sunday, from January 3rd, 2016.

While you’re there, take the #MCNYHoliday challenge!

Here are the rules:

  • Snap a photo and share it on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #MCNYHoliday
  • With your photo post, rename the flavor after your favorite New Yorker, or New York site – hint, Van-Ella Fitzgerald! Stanford White Peppermint!

They’ll award an individual-level membership to the most creative entry.
