Last week it was the storm this week in Harlem, now it’s a dangerous heat advisory. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for NYC from 12:00 PM today to 7:00 PM tomorrow, 9/9. High heat indices are dangerous to health.
Avoid strenuous activity. People without air conditioning, older adults, and people with chronic health conditions are most at risk. Cooling centers are open.
