Budding entrepreneurs in Harlem have the chance to win up to a year of free office space when Co-working company WeWork opens its first location in the neighborhood.

WeWork and Silicon Harlem announced the “Mission Possible” program for entrepreneurs at Friday’s 3rd Annual Next Gen Tech & Innovation Conference. Through “Mission Possible” entrepreneurs who apply for the program can win office space and networking opportunities from WeWork, according to a press release.

Those chosen for “Mission Possible” will receive:

  • Three to 12 months of sponsored space at WeWork Harlem;
  • Access to WeWork’s 80,000 members;
  • Participation in Demo Day pitch competition and other events;
  • Mentorship and professional advice from members and industry experts;
  • Reduced rates on health care, payment processing, accounting, legal advice and more.

WeWork is planning on opening its Harlem location at 5. W 125th St. in December.

“Harlem has always had a rich culture of entrepreneurship, with a community that believes we are better in all things if we do them together,” said WeWork CEO Adam Neumann in a statement. “As we prepare to open our first Harlem location, we are proud to partner with Silicon Harlem in launching Mission Possible, which will provide local Harlem creators and innovators with access to our global community and other important tools to help them grow.”

To apply for “Mission Possible” entrepreneurs must be able to form an application that demonstrates how access to WeWork’s platform can help advance their company.
