January 17, 2017

For spring, Dior Homme tapped a lineup of diverse, multigenerational artists to front its campaign. Creative director Kris Van Assche looked to Harlem style rapper A$AP Rocky.

In additional to Rocky, New Romantics icon Boy George, Mr. Robot actor Rami Malek and model Ernest Klimko star in the ads photographed by Willy Vanderperre.

Van Assche embellished on the inspiration behind the campaign to WWD:

“I really tried to translate what I think Dior Homme is right now. It’s about music, it’s about cinema, it’s about fashion….”

Making his return to Dior Homme, Harlem’s A$AP Rocky, who starred in the brand’s Fall 2016 campaign as well. Unlike Boy George and Malek’s studio photos, A$AP’s ads are shot in the streets of Paris, the perfect backdrop for the much loved rapper.

In conjunction with the new campaign, Dior Homme also launched an Instagram account (@diorhomme), which will undoubtedly offer up plenty of dapper, well-dressed men that we could all use a little more of in our feeds.
