Harlem’s CCCADI Cultural Immersion Trip To Puerto Rico

March 20, 2017

Join the CCCADI‘s upcoming intersectional cultural immersion trip with the Community Arts University Without Walls (CAUWW) to Puerto Rico. CAUWW is a creative cultural experience in Puerto Rico curated by CCCADI for woke individuals that are passionate about cultural immersive educational travel and want to engage with others involved in cultural arts advocacy. Travelers will get to connect with the cultural workers leading a very progressive and empowering arts and cultural movement in Puerto Rico. The island, recently recognized as a US colony by the United Nations, is currently undergoing a debt crisis comparable to the financial collapses of Greece and Detroit. Amidst the economic and humanitarian uncertainties, a powerful cultural and art movement has bloomed. CCCADI, a pioneer in wielding art as a tool of social justice, takes you right to the center of this movement with CAUWW.

Join us in Puerto Rico this summer and meet social justice advocates, including artists, farmers, policymakers, entrepreneurs and community experts, and learn about the history, arts, and culture of the island in the past, present and into the future. Trip includes access to Museums (Museum of the Americas), Community Initiatives (Santurce Es Ley), and Artist Studios such as Antonio Martorell and Samuel Lind.

CAUWW 2017 Dates: July 10, 2017 – July 21, 2017

Booking Deadline: June 2, 2017
