Harlem’s Cicely Tyson Honored In Hand And Foot Print Ceremony (Photos)

The Jasmine Brand reports that legendary Tony and Emmy Award winning actress and Harlemite Cicely Tyson was honored at a hand and foot print ceremony on Friday April 27th, 2018. The 93-year-old actress who has starred in movies such as “The Roots” and “The Autobiography Of Miss Jane Pittman” had her hand and footprints immortalized in front of Hollywood’s iconic TCL Chinese Theatre. This ceremony was apart of the Turner Classic Movies Classic Film Festival. Director, actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry hosted the event. Perry who has worked with her in his films “Diary Of A Mad Black Woman” and “Madea’s Family Reunion” congratulated the star saying, “You so deserve it. What a life and journey. We all love you!,” he shared on Twitter.
