Harlem’s Rangel Honored For Partnership Between NY And The Dominican Republic

1785f1be-4c20-4e63-aa58-efd94282199fOn Tuesday, July 12, 2016, Harlem Congressman Charles Rangel was recognized by the Dominican Republic Ambassador to the U.S., José Tomás Pérez, for his work in strengthening the partnership between the U.S., and the Dominican Republic, and supporting the Dominican community in New York.

Rangel stated, that “Dominicans and Dominican-Americans has made countless cultural and economic contributions to New York City and to our nation every day.” Rangel continued, that he was, “…proud to serve a district with such a large and vibrant Dominican population.”
