Harlem’s R&F Donates $10K With American Cancer Society

raymore and flanagan and breast cancerRaymour & Flanigan Furniture with a location at 125th Street & Lexington Avenue in East Harlem is proud to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is partnering with the American Cancer Society by donating $10,000 toward research, education and to help those affected by breast cancer.

Visit Raymour & Flanigan Furniture on October 1, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in one of their 25 locations throughout their Metro New York and New Jersey regions. These events will include an assortment of pink refreshments, entertainment, a variety of raffles and the chance to donate and receive a pink ribbon to be placed on their Wall of Hope.

Elisabeth Dwyer, Director of Public Relations, expressed how important it is that Raymour & Flanigan give back. Said Dwyer, “Breast cancer has impacted the lives of many of our associates and customers. We’re proud to be able to host events like these and to play an active part in finding a cure for cancer.”

As a leader in the business community in and out of Harlem, Raymour & Flanigan strongly believes in giving back to the communities in which its associates live and work. Events like this one are part of the company’s ongoing community outreach efforts, which included over 400 individual events in 2015. These coordinated efforts help raise funds and awareness for a wide array of causes from children’s hospitals to food pantries.
