HW Pick: Fort Tryon Park Trust, Living Landmarks Panel Discussion

0e39c7d0-7b93-49c9-be40-2c6735f49288Fort Tryon Park Trust presents the Living Landmarks which celebrates the nine individually landmarked New York City public parks in honor of the 50th anniversary of the City’s landmarks law.

The exhibit showcases their contributions to landscape design and to the dynamism of the city through historical and contemporary photography, renderings, maps, artifacts, and memorabilia.

This panel conducted with leading park administrators, landscape architects, and advocates at six of New York City’s scenic landmarks, will explore the complex and challenging issues of preserving and programming a living landmark and adapting to changing times. Among the panelist will be Jennifer Hoppa, Executive Director of the Fort Tryon Park Trust.

Wednesday, July 22, 6:00 p.m.

The Living Landmarks Art Exhibit will be open daily Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until August 28.

Admission is free but space is limited.
