The Urban Farming Institute of Boston and Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh invite you to attend the historic groundbreaking of Boston’s newest Urban Farm site — The Garrison-Trotter Farm, named after William Lloyd Garrison, and William Monroe Trotter. This is the first urban farm site. This is the first urban farm site launched in Boston since the passage of the “right to farm statute” known as Article 89.
This event is sponsored by the Urban Farming Institute of Boston in partnership with The City of Boston Department of Neighborhood Development, The Trust for Public Land and the Dudley Neighborhood Initiative.
