June 21st, 2017 is less than a month away! Thanks to the hundreds of venues and thousands of musicians that have already become a part of Make Music New York 2017.

At this time, we can longer accept requests from musicians in need of amplification or electricity. But if you are an acoustic performer, or a venue looking for an acoustic concert, you might still be able to the music holiday. Please email your interest to us at info@makemusicny.org (mailto:info@makemusicny.org) and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Make Music New York concerts will take place in over 100 city parks across the five boroughs. And in a special new partnership with the Park’s Arts, Culture & Fun initiative, we are thrilled to present these three very special program

Join Talu Green from the Broadway show FELA! as he leads the New York Djembe and African Hand Drumming Community, featuring other leading West African dummers based in New York. Everyone is invited to participate!

Composer and producer Adam Cuthbért of the independent label Slashsound has put together an environmental-inspired, site specific Mass Appeal for cello and other string instruments along the waterfront at Bushwick Inlet Park.
