In Blessed Life, Fields will take a revealing and inspiring look at her personal life and public career, from her earliest days in Harlem to stardom in Hollywood and beyond, as an adult of deep and passionate faith whose favorite and most important roles are marriage and motherhood. Blessed Life will be a chronicle of living, learning, and ah-ha moments of self-discovery told with humor, transparency, and refreshing honesty by an inspiring woman who found faith at age 14 and has felt God alongside her through every chapter of her life.

Far from being simply a “look back”, Blessed Life will find Kim characteristically outspoken and provocative, witty and profound, opining on topics front and center in her life, and in society, right now: race, relationships, age, workplace rights, education, child-rearing, the negativity of a gossip-driven culture, and her perspectives on the role and responsibilities of African American men and women.

“This story has been 47 years in the making,” says Fields, who gained notoriety and influenced generations of girls as Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey on the classic sitcom The Facts of Life, before co-starring on the seminal coming-of-age show Living Single, working as a director of Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns and House of Payne, and most recently appearing as herself on Real Housewives of Atlanta and Dancing with the Stars.

Blessed Life will be a chronicle of living, learning, and ah-ha moments of self-discovery told with humor, transparency, and refreshing honesty by an inspiring woman who found faith at age 14 and has felt God alongside her through every chapter of her life.
