Man, 70, Found Dead Under Bed in Harlem Apartment

crime-tape-in-harlemA 70-year-old man was found dead beneath his bed in Harlem Sunday morning, police said.

The man, whose name was being withheld pending family notification, was discovered lying unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to his face and body in his apartment on W. 135th St. near Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. at about 10 a.m., police sources said.

There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment, the sources said.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
