Man Convicted Of Killing Ex-girlfriend Outside Their Child’s Harlem Day Care

June 14, 2017

NY Daily News reports that a jilted ex-boyfriend was convicted Tuesday of murdering his longtime girlfriend outside their 2-year-old’s day care center in Harlem.

It took a jury about an hour to find Eugene Miller, 33, guilty of killing 30-year-old Rosetta Ewell in July 2015.

Ewell, a mother of three, dropped off their toddler at a child care center on W. 139th St. when Miller, who was waiting for her in the hallway, confronted her.

He fired three rounds at her face and head, killing her instantly.

Prosecutors said Miller harassed and stalked Ewell after she tried to end their long and rocky relationship.

Miller faces up to life in prison when he’s sentenced on June 28, 2017.
