An argument between two men inside an East Harlem sporting goods store turned violent as one man slashed the other while they fought Sunday, witnesses and police said.

The victim was shopping for a T-shirt at Foot Locker at 1911 3rd Avenue at 106th Street when he began arguing with someone about 11:20 a.m., said worker Juan Cruz, 30.

“He got into an altercation with somebody he didn’t like,”

Cruz said.

While arguing, the suspect slashed the victim in the face and then fled the store, police said.

The victim was taken to Metropolitan Hospital, officials said. But before being taken to the hospital, the man kept shopping, Cruz said.
