February 5, 2018

NY Daily News reports that the NYPD is trying to identify a man who robbed an East Harlem Dunkin’ Donuts store at gunpoint, police said.

The suspect entered the store, located on the corner of Third Avenue and East 108th Street, around 8:30 (even though its says 4:30 AM on the image) Sunday morning, police said. After entering the Dunkin’ Donuts, the stickup man approached a 32-year-old employee working behind the store’s counter.

When the employee opened the store’s cash register, the man pulled out a gun, pointed it at the worker and demanded money, police said. The worker complied with the man’s demands and handed over about $300, police said.

The Dunkin’ Donuts employee was not harmed during the robbery, police said.

Police described the suspect as a man in his 20s standing about 5-foot-9 who was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
