Billies Black is the spot in Harlem, always with a great lunch, brunch, dinner with their favorite ‘crackfish’ and evening comedy, spoken word and more. Local artists artwork is shown on the walls of the space.
Native is a French-Moroccan Caribbean cuisine which we infused with Creole and soulful touches. Having pleased some of the most demanding customers here in Harlem, they are happy to invite you in and indulge with our tempting food, our warm and engaging atmosphere, and what we call our “turkey burger & martini spot”.
A history from the 1800′s, but with a 21st century attitude. That’s The Riverside Church which host the Annual Gay and Lesbian Wedding Expo and they have performed same-sex unions since 1991. The church is set on a hill at the corner of Riverside Drive and 120th Street.
Harlem Pride was started in 2010 to celebrate the SGL & LGBT community, contributing to Harlem’s rich history and to promote Same Gender Loving & Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender pride in Harlem. Harlem Pride continues a long Harlem tradition of a vibrant Gay Harlem community with the Harlem Pride Day Celebration in June of each year.
