I know, I know we have listed the Apollo Theater more than once. Well, if any place deserves it’s the Apollo Theater, and for good reason – their new Apollo Club Harlem live performances of new talent is one of the best in Harlem.
With the Lenox Lounge closed and the Minton’s on the road to re-opening Smoke just keeps on blowing some of the best jazz in Harlem on 125th Street in central Harlem.
On the music side HW Arts & Culture writes Walter Rutledge calls “music in the nightclub Harlem tradition at the Apollo (Theater)” is still one of the best spots and continues to be one of the top draws for tourists and residents.
DJ Stormin Norman on the one and two hit Harlem up every quarter of the year but mostly during the summer in many of the central Harlem parks. Great music and a fantastic community vibe, if the weather is right make sure to spread your blanket and chill.
