Nickelodeon, French Embassy Honored at ‘My Dream Speaks’

IMG_0714The 135st Agency reports that last night, the Global Language Project held their 3rd Annual My Dream Speaks benefit in New York City where they honored the French Embassy in the United States and the Nickelodeon network for their tremendous commitment to early second language education.

A lively affair, the event featured a collection of experiences including a red carpet, a networking reception where guests socialized and were served hors d’oeuvres and Circoc cocktails, a silent auction as well as displays of proper makeup application from IMAN Cosmetics.

The red carpet was a highlight of the evening, with several media outlets in attendance and many VIPs, honorees and special guests on-hand to take photos and have interviews including: Cindy Hsu – Event Host & Anchor with CBS New York, Angela Jackson – Founder of Global Language Project, Marty Abbott – President of American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages, Fatima Ptacek – Voice of DORA THE EXPLORER/Nickelodeon and Antonin Baudry – Cultural Counselor for France in the United States.

Event sponsors for My Dream Speaks included Nickelodeon, HBO, IMAN Cosmetics, Gravity Media, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language, the Morrison Foerster Foundation and the Qatar Foundation International.

The excitement carried over into the honoring ceremony where guests enjoyed performances by the Global Language Project Student Choir and the Villalobos Brothers, and witnessed the presentation of awards to the French Embassy in the United States, accepted by Antonin Baudry, and the Nickelodeon network, accepted by Fatima Ptacek.
