chef-jj-johnsonModerated by Hallie Ringle, curator The Studio Museum in Harlem.  This panel including Miguel Luciano, Hannah Bronfman, Anahi Angelone, and Chef Joseph “JJ” Johnson, will explore the complex intersections of food, community, and contemporary art. Celebrating the myriad ways that people represent themselves through food, this program engages food culture as a powerful lens through which people self-identify and understand themselves in relation to issues of politics, memory, heritage, race and culture. This brunch is followed by a tour featuring highlights from the Studio Museum exhibition, Palatable: Food and Contemporary Art.
