MNY63239Public School 103 with a large crowd of pedestrians and horse-drawn carriages by the side of the school, at Madison Avenue and 119th Street, in Harlem, New York, 1893.

In the foreground, a row of men are sitting on the sidewalk on119th Street leaning against an iron fence. Right across from them separated by the cobblestone is a large rock that pre-dates the construction to take place on this southeast corner of 119th Street and Madison Avenue in East Harlem.
