July 7, 2016

ciara-weddingHarlem man Puff Daddy maybe wondering what slipped through his money making fingers as Ciara (Princess Harris) and now-husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, tied the knot in Liverpool, England. After a romantic proposal in the Seychelles, the couple were wed at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire after celebrating their nuptials with a rehearsal dinner at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool on Tuesday evening, according to People. In keeping with the royal theme, Ciara donned an all-lace custom Roberto Cavalli gown with a plunging lace-up neckline and bell sleeves by Peter Dundas. The star-studded guest list included fellow songstresses Kelly Rowland and Jennifer Hudson, who shared her Christian Siriano look for the wedding earlier today. The couple announced their making it official on Instagram and Twitter, using the same image and caption on each of their feeds. Congratulations to the happy couple!

People magazine reports that earlier this year, Ciara, 30, opened up about finding love with Wilson, 27, after being unlucky in love (she has a 2-year-old son, Future Zahir, with her ex, Future). “I remember telling my friend the kind of guy I wanted: a God-fearing man with a very fun spirit who loves kids and would really, truly care for me,” she said.

“Marriage is something I look forward to. I believe in family, and the beauty of two people committing to spend their lives together,” she added.

Congrats to Ciara and Russell Wilson.
